Rhonda meets the Quail

Today Rhonda decided that since she was such a good chicken, she should be allowed to go outside the pen.  She ranged about the yard, and eventually found the quail pen.  The Pharaoh quail called down jeers and cat-calls, and Rhonda was quite miffed.  Obviously, these rude little birds, and especially their ring leader, needed to be taught a lesson.  Not one to let a teaching moment go by, Rhonda flew up and settled herself atop their pen.  There, she made herself comfortable, and waited patiently for just the right moment.

For the record, it is very difficult to get a Pharaoh roo to cooperate when washing chicken poop off him.  Rhonda denies everything and correctly pointed out that the eyewitness testimony is unreliable due to there being 20 other possible subjects that match the description the quail gave of their assailant.
